“The Gospel Is Bigger Than Politics”

| Jay B. Klein

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” - Micah 6:8

The call of Jesus has never been about gaining political power or elevating national identity above the Kingdom of God.

Christ calls us to repentance — to turn from pride, fear, hatred, and self-righteousness, and to walk in humility, mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and love.

When our faith becomes more about defending power than reflecting Christ, we must stop and listen again for the voice of the Good Shepherd calling us back.

The Gospel of Jesus does not point us toward domination. It points us toward the Cross, where mercy triumphs over judgment and love is stronger than fear.
